Village Bites is committed to delivering premium Indian sweets and snacks to customers across India and internationally. This Shipping Policy outlines our procedures, timelines, and terms related to the dispatch and delivery of orders placed through our website.
Order Processing and Dispatch
All confirmed orders are processed within 48 hours, excluding Sundays and public holidays. Orders placed after 2:00 PM IST may be processed on the following business day. During peak seasons or festivals, processing times may be extended. Estimated delivery dates are displayed at checkout for customer reference.
Delivery Timelines
Village Bites partners with leading courier services to ensure timely and secure delivery. Estimated delivery timelines are as follows:

Shipping Charges
Village Bites offers free shipping on orders above ₹599 within India. Orders below this threshold will incur a flat-rate shipping fee, which is displayed during checkout. For international orders, shipping charges begin at ₹3500 for packages up to 4kg. Final rates are calculated based on destination, weight, and applicable courier tariffs.
Address Modifications
Shipping address changes must be requested within 3 hours of placing an order. Once an order is dispatched, address modifications are not permitted. If an order is returned due to an incorrect address or failed delivery attempts, customers may request reshipment. Reshipping will incur additional charges.
International Shipping and Customs
Village Bites ships to multiple countries including the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, UAE, and Singapore. Customers are responsible for paying any customs duties, taxes, and import fees applicable in their country. Village Bites will assist with documentation but does not cover these charges.
Product Restrictions
Due to international regulations, certain products may not be eligible for delivery outside India:
- Milk-based sweets and ghee cannot be shipped to the UK or European Union.
- Non-vegetarian pickles are available only for domestic delivery within India.
- Nut-based products cannot be shipped to the UK due to customs restrictions.
In such cases, Village Bites will offer a substitute or issue a refund within five business days if no alternative is available.
Multiple Shipments
To ship products to multiple addresses, customers must place separate orders for each destination. Combined shipments to multiple locations are not supported.
Delivery Attempts and Non-Delivery
Courier partners will attempt delivery twice before marking the package as undeliverable. If delivery fails due to customer-related issues such as incorrect address or unavailability, no refund will be issued. Reshipment may be arranged at an additional cost.
Returns and Refunds
